Does ARMIT require WiFi?
No. ARMIT sensors connect to EarthSmart Networks — a sovereign private wireless infrastructure we own and operate. No WiFi setup, no passwords, no dependency on your internet connection.
What is ARMIT Central?
ARMIT Central is our 24/7 live operator monitoring service. Real people on shift, watching your environment, escalating to the right contact when an alert fires. It's the human response layer no competitor offers.
How do I set up my sensor?
Power on the device. Create your account at myARMIT.com. Your sensor connects automatically to EarthSmart Networks. Configure alert thresholds in your dashboard. No WiFi needed at any step.
What's the difference between ARMIT and EarthSmart?
ARMIT is the consumer and SMB product brand — sensors, monitoring subscriptions, contractor programs. EarthSmart Networks is the enterprise infrastructure brand — network deployment, major account relationships, defense and government.
How long do batteries last?
3 to 5 years in normal operation using a high-quality CR2477 lithium battery. ARMIT recommends changing every other season. Battery status is visible in real time in your myARMIT dashboard.
Can monitoring reduce my insurance costs?
